From Bordeaux Merignac Airport (travelling time 45 mins)

Take the E5. Then follow the signs for Paris.

Exit at sign for Angouleme (A10/E606) then exit again at the signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/ Montlieu la Garde.  Follow sign for Montilieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).

From Calais (travelling time 7-8 Hours)

This route avoids going through Paris but is no longer than the route via Paris.

Take the A10/A16.  Follow the signs for Rouen/Amiens, then Rouen, then Le Mans, then Tours, then Poitiers, then Angouleme. Exit at signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/ Montlieu la Garde.  Follow the sign for Montilieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).

If you wish to go via Paris:

Take the A1. Follow the signs for Paris, then Versailles, then Orleans, then Tours, then Poitiers, then Angouleme, then Bordeaux. Exit at signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/Montilieu la Garde.  Follow the sign for Montlieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).
 
From Cherbourg (travelling time 6-7 Hours)

Take the E3. Then follow the signs for Rennes, then Nantes, then Niort, then Saintes.  Exit at signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/ Montlieu la Garde.  Follow the sign for Montilieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).

From La Rochelle (travelling time 1-2 Hours)

Take the E602. Then follow the signs for Saintes.  Exit at signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/ Montlieu la Garde.  Follow the sign for Montilieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).

From Roscoff (travelling time 6-7 Hours)

Take the E50. Then follow the signs for Rennes (at Rennes take the E3), then Nantes, then Niort, then Saintes.  Exit at signs for Mirambeau/Montendre/Montilieu la Garde.  Follow the sign for Montlieu la Garde and then follow the signs for Montguyon (from where it will be relatively easy to find Neuvicq which is just outside this town).

Please take care when travelling and watch out for the Traffic Cameras – Fines for speeding can be severe.

Please also make sure you have enough high visibility jackets for all car passengers and two alcohol test kits (available from Amazon) since lack of either can result in a fine.
